Dyspraxia (DCD)

Dyspraxia, or Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD), affects 5 to 6% of children. The child knows what they want to do, but their brain struggles to programme the motor sequence.

A difficulty planning and coordinating voluntary movements. The child has normal intelligence but their movements are clumsy, slow or imprecise.
